"Dream Team of American Song"

William Bolcom and Joan Morris perform their third engagement with Chelsea Musical Celebrations. This celebrated duo presents favorite songs from turn-of the-century through the 1930’s by Berlin, Rodgers, Gershwin, Blake, and Porte, the latest songs by Leiber and Stoller, cabaret songs by Bolcom and poet-lyricist Arnold Weinstein, as well as some of Bolcom’s original piano compositions!

One of the greatest musical collaborations of our time, pianist and composer William Bolcom and mezzo-soprano Joan Morris have performed together since 1972 in major venues throughout the U.S., Canada and abroad. Recent appearances include Alice Tully Hall/Lincoln Center, Grace Rainey Rodgers Hall/Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and Jordan Hall in Boston. Joan and Bill have enjoyed performing at our more intimate venue and we are very honored and excited for the opportunity to present two of the greatest living musical legends of our time!
